Khalid Educational Society is founded by Sumbul Siddiqi (Alladin), a counseling Psychologist with over 15 years of experience. Sumbul's journey while counseling school children has deepened her empathy and compassion for those lacking educational opportunities. Inspired by her father's values of compassion and humility, she established this NGO in 2017 in his honor, reflecting his enduring legacy. She is the General Secretary of the NGO.
Sarala Indugula is the Director of Khalid Educational Society. A non-resident Indian, she brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her role as director. Residing in the United States, Sarala leverages her international network to secure funding and resources, ensuring the sustainability and growth of our NGO. Her commitment to philanthropy and passion for making a difference have been instrumental in expanding our reach and impact across communities.
Making Education Accessible for Every Child
We are committed to ensuring that no child is deprived of education due to financial difficulties. Through our Fee Assistance Program we cover school and college fees for children from economically weaker families. We provide partial or full fee support based on their circumstances.
We organize exciting and educational summer camps for underprivileged children, giving them a chance to learn, explore, and have fun during the holidays. These camps focus on life skills and personality development, providing a holistic growth environment.
We believe that learning goes beyond the classroom. That's why we organize educational field trips for these children, giving them firsthand experiences to broaden their horizons and see the world in a new light.
